Come to Johnson's Beach in the Gulf Islands National Seashore for a ceremony in honor of the life and sacrifice of Private Rosamond Johnson, Jr. a young black man who was the first Escambia County resident to be killed in action in the Korean War. After joining the Army at age 15, Pvt Johnson made the ultimate sacrifice at age 17 as he successfully carried two wounded soldiers to safety before being fatally wounded while returning with the third. The Pensacola Sports Association (PSA) invites all local businesses and sports organizers in Pensacola and surrounding areas to participate in the first Sports Connection Expo. The event will take place at the Vickery Center, 2130 Summit Boulevard, Pensacola on May 15 from 10:00 AM to NOON.
Any sports organization and businesses that could benefit from partnerships are welcome. Reservations are free and admittance is open to everyone. Space is limited. Local sports organizations are asked to submit a request to PSA by 04/26 to reserve a table.

Don't miss the Perdido Key Chamber Annual Spring Golf Tournament!
